1. If you are a business using Autopilot Messaging
If you connected your WhatsApp Business number through Meta Embedded Signup and use only the Cloud API: email saurabh@getasidekick.ai from your business contact address and ask us to disconnect and delete your data. You can also remove Autopilot Messaging from your Meta business portfolio yourself, in the business settings where Meta lists the apps connected to your WhatsApp Business Account.
If you also use the WhatsApp Business app on your phone: in the WhatsApp Business app, go to Settings → Account → Business Platform → Disconnect Account. Then email saurabh@getasidekick.ai so that we can confirm the deletion.
When Meta tells us that your number was disconnected, we start the deletion even if you have not emailed us.
What happens next: we stop processing your messages at once and delete your business access token immediately. Within 30 days we delete our copies of your conversations, imported chat history, contacts, templates and logs. If you want an export of your conversations, ask before you disconnect.
What you keep: your WhatsApp Business Account, your phone number and your chats in the WhatsApp Business app stay yours. If your Chatwoot inbox runs on your own server, the data on that server is yours to keep or delete; if we host your inbox, we delete it as described above.
